On my way to Baume-de-Venise, I was struck by the beauty of this tiny chapel. It was closed, but the exteriors and the landscape around it where very much worth the detour. Will go back for a visit one of these days and report…
The bonus was to discover a garden in squares, that very much reminded me of our own. It has apparently been built by volunteers caring for this little chapel, fabulous job!! It was really interesting to see that this disposition dates back to the middle ages. Also, it featured a fountain on it’s edge, an idea I have been playing with and probably another project that might become reality one of these days..
