The summer house is set in a renovated garden shed at the top of our lavender field. I designed a u shaped sofa running along it’s wall, for leisurely hours spend in the freshness of the stone walls with a lovely garden view.
During the summer, our crop of lavender flowers is harvested and put into linen bags that garnish all the closets, perfuming them and act as an insect repellent.
What was an obvious landscaping choice, has been very much appreciated by guests and friends from abroad as an instagram photo opportunity not to be missed 🙂

This year’s harvest: the lavender crop is put to dry on the floor of the summer house, the flowers are then separated and will fill hand dyed fabric pouches. They are a bit of Provence to take home..
